In conjunction with the Ealing Teaching Alliance and the Institute Of Education I became a NPQML facilitator, delivering programmes for middle leaders, or those who are about to take on a substantive middle leader role in schools.
I have previously supported schools in special measures to improve Teaching and Leadership in the EYFS, including action planning, assessment, observations, moderation, target setting, planning and development of the learning environment.
With my expertise in Early Years I have driven sustained improvement in assessment by developing tracking systems to monitor pupil progress from Nursery, through Reception and beyond. I am presently having a significant impact as part of Leadership Team, working collaboratively in accordance with the School Development Plan to raise standards in Teaching and Learning to support colleagues including new to school, and RQT’s.
I have been instrumental in leading improvements and raising standards in phonics and have conducted whole school insets, developed individuals, including support staff with planning through to implementation, including facilitating workshops for parents.
As an SLE I specialise in improving Teaching and Learning. More specifically, all areas of the EYFS and Phonics.return
