Mindfulness has a great deal to offer both teachers and pupils in terms of wellbeing. But what exactly is (and isn’t) it? How can it be used personally and in the classroom? This interactive and practical session will introduce colleagues to the core aspects of mindfulness practice, link it to wellbeing, and provide some useful techniques to apply in different contexts. Will Ord (the trainer) has been practising meditation techniques for 30 years, and has worked with adults and children in developing a calmer internal life.
